two things...

1. you can't cite wikipedia and expect to be taken seriously.
2. Room 237 wasn't meant to prove anything, the idea is to prove that people, after 30+ years, still believe there are hidden meanings. The Alex Jone's and David Icke's of the world will "find a conspiracy" in anything. In fact, one of the gentlemen interviewed (the Holocaust guy) even said, 2x3x7=42, which is a bit of a stretch...

These are the folks where, you can have scientific data proving your case but they'll refute it every time and tell you that our reptilian overlords created these facts to further suppress the truth.

Room 237 I think would be an ok addition but it would probably lose itself in the middle of the night.

The quote was verbatim from the New York Times. Check the source link. If you say that you never heard of the New York Times then I will call BS.

Now Room 237 is just BS. If I want to watch BS I'll watch Fox "News".

I think there's a documentary in willcail's lack of understanding of Room 237.

Only if BS = The Truth is willcail world. I think it's funny how in this new Liberal based country we live in that the truth has become a lie. I am pretty liberal on some issues myself but I also live in reality and some things are just the truth no matter how you paint it, same goes for lies.

Lets see how quickly this thread gets zapped over to unmoderated chat

Yeah, I think the general encroaching direction of this thread should be self-explanatory.

And no, just because someone posts something you disagree with doesn't mean that you automatically have to chime in.

Tough because last year's marathon featured an incredible schedule, but because of finances and my busy schedule at the time, I couldn't make it.

Classics I'd love to see include: Suspiria, Deep Red, The Exorcist (40th anniversary!), The Wicker Man, The Shining, Alien, Vampyr, Island of Lost Souls, Psycho, The Birds, House of Usher, Nosferatu, Carrie '76, I Walked With a Zombie, Black Christmas, The Haunting '63, Poltergeist, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane, Hush..Hush Sweet Charlotte, Carnival of Souls, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde '31, Strait Jacket, Invasion of the Body Snatchers '56, House on Haunted Hill '59, Dead of Night, Peeping Tom, Mad Love, Repulsion.

Other gems: The Entity, Ticket to Heaven, The Uninvited, Tales from the Crypt '72, Mr. Sardonicus, The Old Dark House '32, Spider Baby, The Intruder, Viy, The Flesh and the Fiends, Vampire Circus, The Beast With Five Fingers, the Coffin Joe films, What Have You Done to Solange?, The Cat O' Nine Tails, The Bad Seed.

Since there seems to be a shocking nasty film every year, here's a helpful BuzzFeed list of some of the most unpleasant films ever made. Not all fit the horror theme, but, many do.

Enjoy?

I have almost no experience in the horror genre, and I've never been to the Horror Marathon before, so I'm honestly up for anything, because it will almost certainly be new to me! Can't wait!

The Sacrament is supposed to premiere in Toronto at TIFF. Wonder if it could be available for Columbus.

Or All Cheerleaders Die.

For a moment there, I misread your punctuation and thought you were simply making a threat...

The majority of that Buzzfeed list of near unwatchable films I saw the majority of those films. Several times. Hey how about Salo 120 Days of Sodom? The 2 girls video is tame compaire to Sodom's dinner scene.
