Quite a timely list, as some of those movies showed up at the marathon we just went to!!!

Obviously some really prescient programming from Joe and Bruce.

My wife was reading that article to me last night, and I chuckled as I was able to say "Seen that, seen that, saw that in the past 24 hours..."

Wait a minute. Prescience? Joe and Bruce run the marathon together? And I just saw the movie Looper starring Joe and Bruce?

Obviously Bruce is from the future and came back to tell Joe what movies to put in the marathon to make himself (or themself, but I don't think it would be themselves) look smarter! I figured it out. Now please don't kill me.

Spoiler: show
Also,
Joe and Bruce had a son named Juice.

Man,that list was little on the mainstream-y side. I would have thought they would be going for rare and great eerie flicks from the past like Screams of a Winter Night,The Innocents,Race with the Devil,Eye of the Devil,The Devil's Own(aka The Witches),Let's Scare Jessica To Death,Murder Mansion,Last House on Dead End Street,Burnt Offerings and many others that have a great quiet paranoia/creepy edge to them. Even many rare TV films from the 70s and 80s have a real jolty edge to them like Dark Night of the Scarecrow,Scream Pretty Peggy,This House Possessed,Don't Go to Sleep,Black Noon and the "Bobby" segment of the 1977 Dead of Night. There's many more out there in the horror vaults that I didn't mention but I'm still surprised at what wasn't mentioned.

Well, it was put together by Yahoo. It has to have films that mainstream audiences at least had a chance of hearing of.

Just finished watching the extended cut of Jingle All the Way. Does that count as a scarry movie? It was horrifying to watch.
