If you follow @ohiomarathons on twitter than you have probably seen a couple cryptic tweets over the last couple days. I believe these are signs that the powers that be are building up to official announcement of the 2013 Horror Marathon.

Agreed...so excited! I've been to the Sci Fi Marathon a few times but not to a Horror Marathon yet, so the anticipation of waiting for information has been killing me!

Pic of a classic ticket from the 5th annual "It Came From the Drexel" 24-hour Horror Marathon. Very encouraging, now if only they'd stop teasing us and give us a date!

If you look closely at the picture, it's pretty obvious that the clue is that this year's marathon will be on October 34th!

Hmmmm, if I were a betting man (which I am) I would suspect this year will be at the Drexel in Bexley...

Edit: Also I think you're right, worldsfinest, about it being at the Drexel; they posted another pic last night that appeared to be a marathon line outside the Drexel. If it is, once all the info is announced, I think I'm gonna have to stay off the forum to avoid the inevitable shitstorm of arguing about the quality of the theater.

I do hope it will be at the Grandview and for 24 hours. If its at the Drexel it will be back down to a partly 12 hours. The lineup will be bunch of direct to video dreck that can be found at the local Wally World, Netflix, Redbox Instant, or Amazon Prime. No trailers, no shorts no classics.

Please if you really honor the Horror Marathon don't let it died a slow and misreable death at the Drexel.

Don't kill the Horor Marathon. Try to work it out with the Grandview. The Drexel is just a former shell of itself.

One can say no to the CAPA run Drexel. Please say no.
