IT'S BACK! The grand kickoff to Horror Marathon season returns for another all-night excursion into the farthest reaches of your terror-stricken minds! Featuring an evening of transgressive cinematic delights, an undead army of 35mm trailers and shorts, and the OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT of the film lineup for SHOCK AROUND THE CLOCK, the 9th Annual Ohio 24-Hour Horror Marathon (October 14-15 at the Drexel Theater). We'll be kicking things off at 10pm, although the exact ending time is still TBD. And after last year's EVIL DEAD mega-blowout, we're excited to try to top that night of unbridled mayhem!

Heh heh...well-played. I'll freely admit to having a soft spot for the 1990 NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, which actually improves on a few of the original's limitations. But those other two remakes? Yeeeeeeaaahhhhh.....

I recently purchased the Australian import (region free) Blu Ray of Night of the Living Dead (1990) for $10.50. Excellent! Much better than the blued, oversaturated Twilight Time release a few years back.

Yeah, I know, not the best remakes, but since you've played the O.G. Night & Day in recent years, I thought this might be a little crazy, fun.

Some 30th anniversary suggestions for the Shock Around the Clock:
Stuart Gordon's Dolls
John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness
Street Trash
Blood Diner
The Stepfather
Slaughterhouse

Thank you for your consideration!

I know Joe and Bruce like to try to get the audience to check out the foreign flicks, so I'll mention that I just watched a new Korean movie called Train To Busan. It's about some folks on a train during a zombie outbreak. Pretty straightforward and pretty fun. Seems like the type of movie that would go over pretty well with the marathon crowd.

I saw Train to Busan online & then bought the Blu Ray combo pack a few months back. I love that movie!
