Just heard that George Romero has died. If the horror marathon lineup isn't set, we really need a tribute not only as a filmmaker but as a fantastic past guest. |

The DEAD films have had strong representation in Marathon history, but it HAS been a while since CREEPSHOW has played a Marathon. hasn't it? Hmmmm... |

Yeah, needless to say this is a major bummer. And we'll be having some sort of tribute at the Horror Marathon. For the record, here are the Romero films we've shown in the past (with the most recent screening listed, as well): -NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (2003) -THE CRAZIES (Sci-Fi 2006) -DAWN OF THE DEAD (2015) -CREEPSHOW (1999) -DAY OF THE DEAD (2009 for 24-Hour Horror, with another appearance at the 2015 SHOCK-O-RAMA) -TWO EVIL EYES (1991) -THE DARK HALF (1993) MARTIN is notable by its absence. |
