It says something when nudity can't save a film. I know it wasn't Vanilla Ice that was the problem, as COOL AS ICE is a classic piece of cinema and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise. Word to your mother.

FYI, Black Sheep is available on DVD for those who do not know. I am going out to buy it tonight, but will wait until the Marathon to watch it. From everything I've read on it, I can't wait to see it. Loved Peter Jackson's earlier stuff "Splat Stick" like Dead Alive. This one looks like it could easily mirror Jackson.

Can't wait!

I picked up a copy of it at Cinema Wasteland, last weekend and yes very Splatter era Jackson, much like Undead and Evil Aliens were...

Sounds like this year's lineup is going to be AWESOME!!!!

Maniac = just what we needed, more blood and violence

Them (Ils) = No real clue obviously, but it sounds like it might be a quality movie that's actually scary. All of a sudden, I think this might be the movie that I'm most looking forward to out of the 7.

I watched Black Sheep on DVD last night. It's pretty good, very clever and a lot of fun. Lots of nasty sheep-related gore (the DVD version is "Unrated", I don't know if there's a lot of difference between that and the theatrical version). I think the marathon crowd will eat it up (so to speak). I imagine it's much more fun with an audience. Wish I could be there, but sadly I had to settle for seeing the film at home. The DVD is worth picking up if you like the film. There are some choice extras... but I'll leave them to you to discover for yourself. Enjoy!
