I agree, no more Japanese horror films. Korean horror films are better! :o

Hey now, I loved "Ils" (Them) last year, and even bought it on DVD after the 'thon.

Gotta admit, Uzumaki was a turd, I liked Ichi the Killer, but I would classify that as a gory action movie.

Bring on the Korean horror movies! I'll give 'em a shot.

Movies coming from France lately - like Them, Haute Tension, Inside - are much more to my taste than any J-Horror ever was.

I'd love to see "The Machine Girl" at the 'thon. It's an over-the-top gore fest that would play good mid-thon to keep the sleepy people awake.

How about X-Cross.

I would still love to see Cemetery Man on the big screen.

Maybe I'm getting older, but I struggle at the 2:30 mark and there is invariably a slow or long movie during the mid section. I'll deal with a different genre, god knows we all like different things, but limiting movies to 90 mins instead of 2+ hours (Shining) would really keep things going.
And please, please for me...give us an up tempo movie in the middle, nothing gothic or thought provoking or anything with subtitles...just some serious action, nudity, and gore, gore gore from 1:00-4:00. Make that 10pm-noon.

It would also be nice if the contests were better. I miss the scream contest and have no idea why it died. Costume contest I understand as it can be uncomfortable to come in costume for a marathon.

Anyone have any ideas for new contests to break things up?
Horror trivia...best horror related joke (i love that idea)...name that scene? Something to break things up. Something involving singing would be good just to screw around and undeaden the wee hours. How about a witching hour scream at 3:00am to wake people like me up?

Come on people lets get creative...

The scream contest never died. I’ve been to the last two horror ‘thons and it was at both of those. The same girl won both years.

This sounds horrible but I don't recall seeing anyone attending the 'thon that I would want to see participate.

Well that would be a horror show, a wet t-shirt contest. It would be better than the creeping runs that seem to happen around 2-4am in the men's restroom.

Please people the Radio Cafe does sell decent food and not fill up on popcorn, candy, and soda. Eat a salad instead.

Wat's a salad?

Seriously, I had soup and a sandwich in April. They do have good food.
