I actually like Burton's version of Planet of the Apes better. Just kidding. I do however like his version of Charlie and the Choclate Factory better. I think it is closer to the book with the exception of the sections about his father. However, that is so nicely done by Christopher Lee, I think for the most part it helps to nicely flesh out the character.

The animatronic parody of "It's a Small World" that bursts into flame still kills me.

My only complaint is some of the musical numbers are not as good and strike me being easily dated.

Are any networks doing there “Horrorfests”. You know, those all horror movies all the time for Halloween?

TCM (Turner Classic Movies) looks to have a nice lineup. Unfortunately they are only doing it 10/30 and 10/31. Each of the evenings they have a theme. on 10/30 in is Anthologies, on 10/31 it is H.P. Lovecraft.
