Be careful of the traffic in the area this weekend. A lot of roads will probably be closed so be careful and hope you can get in and out. Not sure how much of a pain in the ass this will be this year. :?

Will they still be around in the evening? They really were a pain the weekend of the 2007 scifi marathon.

They're not on Saturday morning, it's on Sunday morning, so when we're trying to leave the theatre. It might also affect where you can park overnight.

Well I hope that main street isn't block off.

Thy hope is in vain. Check the route map. Main street, pretty much only between Drexel Avenue and Nelson, is part of the route.

My recommendation might be to find parking that is on the other side of Drexel Ave and walk a block or three to the marathon. You'll be happier when it comes to leaving.

I just spoke with a Bexley police officer. He says that Drexel and Main Streets will be closing at about 7AM Sunday morning. Any cars parked on Drexel or Main will be towed. He expects that the roads will reopen at about 10AM. He thinks that you should be able to cross the streets with no problem in the breaks between runners. If you might need to leave or return during those hours, park east of Drexel or south of Main. For those who want to avoid CANNIBAL FEROX, it is pencilled in at about 8AM. You could always step outside and watch the other marathon (if you can call 2 1/2 to 4 hours a marathon) go by.
