By odd coincidence I just got done watching the documentary 'Flesh Wounds', which chronicles the film 'The Texas Chain Saw Massacre', in it Gunar Hansen(Leatherface)mentions '2,000 Maniacs' as a basis of comparrison for how he felt TTCSM would do from a success standpoint back when it was first released.
