Since the Horror Marathon is going back to the 24 hour format I think it's finally time to show "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" it would make for a great opener for the younger audience to enjoy before the blood and splatter starts for us die hard horror fans.

I have always been a big fan of Don knotts and have always wanted to see "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" on the big screen.

Hear hear! It's unquestionably the best of the Don Knotts vehicles he made after leaving THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW. Good stuff.

I also have a place in my heart for "THE PRIVATE EYES" it's just one of those movies I loved as a kid and has stuck with me all these years but GHOST AND MR. CHICKEN is way better.

Maybe 2012 will be the year "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" plays the horror marathon. Such a great, classic comedy set in a spooky haunted Mansion.

The Ghost and Mr.Chicken or Private Eyes would be kind of nice. There's also many other horror comedies from the past that would be cool too like Arnold,Student Bodies,I Was A Teenage Zombie,Blood Diner,Spooks Run Wild,The Ghost of Dragstrip Hollow, etc. Maybe even The Toxic Avenger and Class of Nuke'em High.

As much as I would love to see Student Bodies play at the Horror marathon I honestly don't think the audience would "get it", mainly because they would have no frame of reference due to the extreme lack of Slasher films being played at the horror marathons.

I hope to see one or more of these awesome slasher films at this years horror marathon:

Friday the 13th (Seriously the horror marathon has been running since 1987 and has yet to play Friday the 13th)
My Bloody Valentine (original)
The Prowler
Halloween 2 (Not the Rob Zombie Version)
Funhouse
Slaughter High
Hatchet
Hatchet 2
