Attention all horror fans: go see this one.

Go now before you read or hear too much about it, seriously you won't be disappointed.

And if you are, well then I'm sorry. I wasn't.

I have to say I have been troubled by the concept of this movie. It may not be fair, having not seen it, but being an adoptive parent, the ad campiagn seems to reinforce the idea that there might be something wrong with kids that are adopted. Granted, the Friday the 13th films, suggested that summer camp was rife with death and mayhem, so maybe I shouldn't be so bothered, but I am.

I do understand why it's a sensitive issue, but I don't think this film is meant to suggest that any adopted kid is going to turn out to be evil anymore than, as you say, any summer camp is going to lead to death and dismemberment, or any night at Prom is going to lead to burning alive due to a ticked off telekinetic teenager, or any airplane flight that you don't get on to is going cause you to die in a horrible coincidence.

I haven't seen the film yet, but from what I've heard, the filmmakers tried to make sure that the message wasn't "All adoptions lead to bad things," just that this one did.

From how the ad's run it's looks like the "Bad Seed" with a little girl..

I saw this yesterday and I agree 100% … this movie is a must see for horror fans. My expression as the credits rolled -->

I understand the concerns some may have going in, but trust me you don't know everything this film is about strictly from the trailers. And that's a good thing. Ultimately, the events of the film have nothing disparraging to say about adoption or the adoption process.

I was also skeptical at first. I have to be very selective about what movies I am able to see and this one wasn't really on my radar. But it was recommended by someone I trust and I wasn't disappointed.

It is difficult to even discuss the reasons this movie works without spoilers. So that is why I simply say go see it before somebody tells you too much.

I saw this movie last night and I must say i was deeply disturbed by it. And I agree the whole adoption theme is kept to a minimum and once you see it you will know it has little to do with adoption.

I was more disturbed by the disfunctional family the girl was adopted into than anything else. These people had enough to deal with and had no business adding bringing anyone else into the family.

I've been really really wanting to see this one, but none of my friends are interested. I'll probably end up going to see it by myself.

Saw it, loved it! Don't wanna say anything else due to the spoiler issue.
