As far as we know, the Director's Cut of FROM BEYOND is only available on DVD. The footage was digitally restored for that purpose, but theatrical prints were never struck. If this changes, we'll let you all know.

Awesome flyer. I've always loved the look of them and I've saved all of my old ones. Can't wait!!!!

I wonder where I saw that flier before? :)

I got lucky and ran into Joe when picking up my tickets, so I got a sneak peek of that and the theater.

What's your impression of the newly renovated Grandview?

I posted somewhere else here some comments. It was still in the drywall stage and all of the shiny goodness was still in either Dave's head or the paint cans. :)

That being said, the bathrooms are bigger (at the cost of some lobby space) but that will make lines shorter and quicker. What Dave describes sounds like it will be very nice and shiny. Quite a difference from the old color scheme. The Auditorium walls were mostly bare and the chairs were on their sides, without seat backs or bottoms. He was going to build the concession stand over the weekend. I haven't checked his blog to see if he has pictures of it, if he got it finished.

Back during one of the Studio 35 horror thons, the Joe Bob Briggs one. The old narrow passageway to the men's room was a death trap. Or I wasn't aware of the other door.

Looking at the old color schemes of Grandview and Studio 35, I'm starting to think they only invented color in the world about 60 years ago and everything must have been black and white like the movies. Also like in the movies, almost no one ever went to the bathroom.
