As I said above, great lineup. However,I will add my vote for the movie to drop to be 13 Ghosts if something is going to be dropped.

Is Martyrs going to be on 35mm?

To the best of my knowledge, the Weinstein Company (which distributes MARTYRS domestically) didn't strike 35mm prints, instead choosing to basically go straight to video with it. We're checking on our options right now, but there's a strong possibility that we might have to show it on Blu-Ray. It's not optimal, but anymore it's the nature of the beast.

If Martyrs going to be screen on BLU RAY make sure the framing is correct. When I Sell the Dead screened the movie was improperly framed. The aspect ratio for I sell was 2.35:1 and it was cropped to 1.78:1. The video projector can handel anamorphic video.

I second dropping 13 Ghost to fit in I spit VS Evil and Monsters.

I second the ghost of William Castle. Oh, wait ... I thought we were voting on the celebrity guest. Sorry.

All kidding aside, the lineup and possible additions look great. I'm SO freakin' excited!

To be frank William Castle isn't that great of movie director. Castle make one good film and that was Straight Jacket.

I want to see more premiers due to the heavy "catalog" lineup last year.

Well of course Castle wasn't that great of a director. No one is saying he was. But what he was, was a master showman. Castle's gimmicks worked. They got attention and notice. And they were fun.

I don't think anyone would ever list William Castle as one of the horror movie directing greats. But it would be completely improper not to note his place in history.

And I defy anyone who remembers Night of the Living Drexel 7 (1994) to say that the repeated appearances of the Tingler weren't an absolute blast.

Very nice lineup. Hope I can make it this year. Might have a conflict with Sergei's gymnastics.

ok now your just trying to insult me. William Castle is one of the Greatest Horror Directors of all time. Movies like House on Haunted Hill and Tingler are timeless classics

We're also pursuing several premieres, including:

*The festival smash hit Tucker and Dale vs. Evil.

*Shinya Tsukamoto's Tetsuo 3 (a.k.a. Tetsuo: The Bullet Man).

*The highly controversial, festival audience-shocking A Serbian Film.

*The upcoming remake of I Spit On Your Grave.

*Modern day alien invasion fest Monsters.

*Corrupt cops meet zombies in The Horde.

*More Japanese craziness in Mutant Girls Squad.

Wow, that's quite a list of potential additions.

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil sounds like it would be a lot of fun for a good portion of the marathon crowd.

I loved Tokyo Gore Police, and I have a feeling that a movie like Mutant Girls Squad is probably right up my alley.

I Spit On Your Grave and A Serbian Film are probably a bit more serious and possibly disturbing than the above two, but just about any premieres would be welcome. Newer releases are always welcome at a horror marathon like this, since the surprises are usually the best parts.

OK I did forgot that House on Hunted Hill was a William Castle film. It was Vincent Price carries the whole film. William Castle was the Micheal Bay of his time.

Martyrs and I Spit 2010 complement each other. I want disturbing horror that makes people squirm.

If this plays, it would be amazing. It would be worth the price of admission alone. From what I've heard, there is definitely some images that rival Martyrs in terms of graphicness. It was not shown recently at Fright Fest in England because there were demands that it be edited first. PLEASE show this movie!!
