For any Elvira fans WWHO DT is airing Elvira's Movie Macabre 3 to 5 am early Saturday morning. This is a new series.

That's awesome. I got to be a part of the press conference for her series at Comic-Con, but I had no idea if any local affiliates were picking it up.

I got to see the first episode last week here in L.A.. It wasn't half-bad. After all these years, Cassandra really has the Elvira role in her...uh...blood. Not to say I'm going to watch it much. I mean, what's the point these days to see films chopped up, edited for commercials and interrupted by Elvira herself? Especially for something like the opening week's NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD where there are some very good DVD transfers out there. Plus, the L.A. affiliate is showing it in SD, not High Def!

But, Cassandra still fills the dress pretty well considering she's almost 60....

I first heard of the Elvira's Movie Macabre on Friday's Stephanie Miller Show. I took a nap and stay up and watch the second episode. Today I went down to Wally World and pick up two coaxial cables, one HDMI and two flat panel RCA antennas so I can setup my Channel Master OTA HD DVR set top box for next week's episode.

She does look good for being 59 year's old and having a daughter.

UPDATE:

It appears that Elvira's Movie Macabre was pick up by MGM/Wiegal Broadcasting This TV network recently. It airs on Friday at 1am for people who doesn't want to stay up and watch it at 3am Saturdays on WWHO DT. This TV will re air the same episode on Sundays.

This TV airs here in Columbus Ohio on WSYX DT2 (6.2). All three Columbus Ohio metro area's cable systems carries This TV. Check your cable system lineups.
