Ok I CAN NOT support a remake of FRIGHT NIGHT I just can't, there can be only one PETER VINCENT VAMPIRE KILLER and that is Roddy McDowall, Also Chris Sarandon was perfect as Vampire Jerry Dandrige and when anyone thinks of EVIL the first name that comes to mind is Stephen Geoffreys. So I will not be supporting this remake

Whatever one's predisposition to remakes in general, it is unfair to judge this one before it has even gotten legs. How can you possibly argue against David Tennant as a suitable replacement for the esteemed Mr. McDowall? I've seen Fright Night recently, and IMHO it does not hold up at all. It is very cheesy and very '80s. But I guess that is another argument entirely. |

To me both of these qualities go into the plus (+) column for any great movie. |
