Also an array of vintage exploitation and monster movies trailers in between the features and cartoons, classic concession stand adverts, and a few surprise short comedy subjects!

admission is (still) only $10 a person each night! Plus, children 12 and under are free with parent or adult guardian

DRIVE-IN SUPER MONSTER-RAMA will be held at the Riverside Drive-In Theatre in Vandergrift, PA. For the dates of September 7 and 8, the theater will devote its screen exclusively to these special nights of vintage entertainment. The actual driving location of the theater reads as: Riverside Drive In Theatre, Route 66 N, Vandergrift, PA 15690. If you put that information as your destination on Mapquest, you can easily access directions from your starting location. If you are using a GPS navigational system, put your destination in as 2780 River Road, Vandergrift, PA 15690. I've been wanting to go to this but it is up to about 8 hours away from the Columbus area depending from where you live. Previous years have had better lineups but every year it is impressive to see something like this continue. Still nice to see this keep going. Fans of this should also try Monsterbash. Every year on the Saturday of the event they turn the back parking lot into a makeshift drive in and it is a total blast. They do it up something special. Freebies,film showings,something to jump out at you during the showing,etc. A true show in the William Castle tradition.

That's a harsh weekend since HorrorHound,The HOllywood Collector SHow(Chicago) and Columbus Toy Show are all that weekend. 4 cool events in one weekend is too much.

My oldest Daughter made the Marching Band at Bowling Green U and their first home game is this weekend so I won't be able to attend Drive-in Super Monster rama 12, maybe 13 will be my lucky number for this event.
