For those of you feeling adventurous, and if you've got the stamina, the Chicago horror marathon will once again be a week before ours. Partial lineup announcement and more info here. Looks heavy on the cheese factor so far if you ask me, but that probably wouldn't keep me away if I had the means. Love to see Phantasm make it's return to Columbus sometime. This year? I guess we'll find out in a couple days (yay!). I still find it odd how very few events there are out there like this. Don't believe me? Google "horror movie marathon" and the first hit is us, then Chicago, then a handful of so called "festivals" that aren't even 24 hours. Hard to figure. Yet another reason to give a big shout out to Joe and Bruce (and the folks at the Grandview) for all the hard work. Cherish it, people. |

Glad to have some Columbus company this year. Really wish I could make it to Columbus this year because you have a pretty awesome lineup. I'm working on the TV series Mob Doctor and can't really escape the 16 hour days... Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll cancel the show! |

It is with a heavey heart and an empty wallet that has brought me here to say I will not be attending the Chicago Horror marathon. Hopefully Next year will be better for me. |

That's too bad. And likewise I cannot make it to Columbus this year. I think the Columbus one has the edge over both Chicago marathons (individually) but with work and 2 marathons at home, I can't make it out there. I'll miss the atmosphere and the trailers associated with Columbus marathons, but hopefully I can make it there for the spring. |
