My brothers have been trying to come up with the name of some old gladiator movie that they were watching on TV over 20 years ago. They think the name might be something like “10,000 Gladiators,” but that’s not it. All that they can really remember is the marching music that was played as 10,000 actors dressed as gladiators marched past the camera for at least a half hour or 45 minutes. I keep asking them if there is anything else about the plot of the movie that they can remember, but they just laugh and say “no” because it seemed like the whole goddam movie was nothing but an endless stream of gladiators marching past the camera. Then they start chanting an imitation of the marching music which has been idelibly imprinted in their brains.
