The most recent message about the Horror Marathon mentioned "Bruce's long-threatened Bad Rock' n' Roll Film All-Nighter on Saturday night, July 19th, details to follow soon!"

It sounds like something I would like to check out...but I need a little bit of advanced warning. OK...so give us some details!! Is this going to happen? What times? What films?

Please get some info out soon! Thanks loads!

It's so irredeemably bad that we had to push it back two weeks to Saturday, August 2 at 9 PM. It should grind mercifully to a halt sometime around 7 AM. The disturbing details will be coming soon, both here and to our Marathoid email list.

Any hints at the lineup, for us impatient folks?

…and ELECTROMA gets a 7.1. We have to draw the line somewhere.

This is the same IMDB that rates Transformers 4 6.3 out of 10 stars. There's that.

Seriously, you've all been warned ...

Quote:
It's an all-night extravaganza of excruciating agony as some of the worst rock movies ever committed to celluloid assault your eyes, your ears, your sense of what it means to rock! Do you have the guts to endure a night so unforgettably atrocious that you'll warn your children, and their children, to avoid these films like the plague? Can you sit through the unrelenting onslaught of the worst films on rock and the worst rock on film? Is there a soft spot in your heart for Freddie and the Dreamers? Rock festivals? Disco? Eighties hair bands? This may be just the corrective therapy that you need.

Emphasis added to remind you all ... WE'RE NOT KIDDING.

(But then, isn't that why everyone is going?) :)

Sorry about the double post. Was using a Nokia Asha 303 when posting my previous post. Please delete one of the post. The Asha uses a wap based browsers and sometimes when I submit a response it doesn't display the paige correctly after I submit.

Schedule please?

There are worst rock musicals. Here is a partial list:

The Apple
Sergeant Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Xanadu
Grease 2
Thank God it's Friday
Girl in Gold Boots
Rock and Roll Nightmare

First time I saw Rock and Roll Nightmare was on the popular piracy website Youtube. There was a belated sequel released in 2005.

There is another bad rock musical title Hard Rock Zombies. I saw this so called film on a DVD copy I found at the Westerville Library. (No longer listed.) It was paired with NOTLD and some other zombie film.
