Just noticed that Big Man Japan is going to be opening at theatres on May 15. I didn't think the movie was that great but someone must like it enough to think others would pay to see it. So was our preview of it the US or North American premiere?

Just noticed that Big Man Japan is going to be opening at theatres on May 15. I didn't think the movie was that great but someone must like it enough to think others would pay to see it. So was our preview of it the US or North American premiere?

Guess it was a sneak peak preview. Guess the distributor wanted to have some sort of preview audience. |

They had a screening of it at the New York Comic-Con. I was almost tempted to try watching it again. Almost. |

Big Man Japan was fun...just not nearly as fun as it should have been. It went on way too long. I might of liked it more but Andromeda Strain really took it out of me. I like A.S. but it just wasn't right for that marathon. Maybe if it had played first. I liked Big Man Japan enough to see it again, but mostly out of devotion to crazy, nonremake, genre films-more should be made. How about Frank Henenlotter's newest movie Bad Biology for a premiere? Might fit well with Tokyo Gore Police. |
