That’s a rather modern lineup. 3 of the 7 titles just came out last year.

They've done that before, I think and only one had a big release, or was Moon more widely distributed than I am thinking. I remember I heard of it and I heard some good things.

For the Sci-Fi it's more like "Please Bruce get Night of the Creeps. Please get this movie. Please"

And I totally agree!!

This is how I keep them separated.

Joe, or as we sometimes randomly call him, Jeff, has the goatee and general evil look, so he is horror.

Bruce doesn't look evil, so he is Sci Fi.

---Or---

Joe looks youthful and there aren't as many.

Bruce, like the SciFi, has more years behind him. But, it's not the years, it's the mileage.

Joe and Jeff are two different people. Jeff Frank is the owner of The Drexel and Joe Neff relaced me as the manager for the Drexel Grandview although he had worked for the Drexel East prior to that, However Jeff and Joe do look alike and often act alike so i can see how someone would think they are the same person.

Hey there! Watch it now! Unless you're talking about Jeff Goldblum...or Jeff Bridges, for that matter.

We're up to the dirty dozen now. Should be a nearly complete lineuP:

Newest Announced titles -

RABID (1977) - David Cronenberg's classic exploitation film starring the recently deceased Porn Star Marilyn Chambers. Full of the usual gory excess from the Director's early period. http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0076590/

NIGHT OF THE COMET (1984) - Not shown since SF/11, this enjoyable 80s epic stars Catherine Mary Stuart, CHOPPING MALL's Kelli Maroney and cult star Mary Woronov. http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0087799/

GODZILLA VS MOTHRA - Double checking whether this is the 1964 or 1992 version. I'm fairly sure it is the 90s version which has never been at the Marathon.

Recently Added to the slate -

NIGHT OF THE CREEPS (1986). MONSTER SQUAD director Fred Dekker's goofy 80s B flick with Aliens, Brains and Zombies! http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0091630/

THE LATHE OF HEAVEN (1980)- Classic PBS TV SF film based on the Ursula Le Guin story. One of the best made for TV SF films. This will be a DVD projection. http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0081036/

THE THING (1982) - The now classic John Carpenter remake of last year's Marathon hit, both based on the John W. Campbell Jr.'s SF classic story. Features Kurt Russell and Rob Bottin's trailblazing makeup effects! http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0084787/

The wonders of digital subchannels in the DTV OTA world I can see more low budget-cult flicks. Recently I was able to catch Day of the Comet on 6.2. Plus WDEM CD 17.3 airs Macarbe Theater that airs Deep Red, Werewolf vs the Vampire Women, Frightmare. 4.2 airs the Wolfman Mac Chiller Theater as well.

I know that but it seems to be something about Joe Neff, that he has had a number of folks over the years, me included, that, for wahtever reason, make the "oe N" silent and we end up calling him Jeff. Joe does that happen to you outside the marathon universe, which I assume you sometimes partake in. :)
