Looks like The All Night Shriek O Rama Part 4 will possibly take place at The Springmill Drive In in Mansfield,OH. Films and date will hopefully come soon. This is very early news but I just wanted to let the fans of drive in horror know this one may be taking place at an actual drive in again. Details soon. |

That does sound very cool. Though I would think with cool weather and my comfortable car seat I would probably have trouble staying awake. |

Still in the planning stage at this point. The guy who is fixing me up with the theater hasn't called back yet with the go ahead word but I am working on various lineups and possible guest(s). I should know more within about a week. |

I just got word from Vince that the All Night Shriek O Rama will take place at Springmill Drive In In Mansfiled Ohio on Sept. 25th, the line up so far is: Jaws Laserblast Tentacles Demons Burial Ground 5 movies for $10.00 thats a great deal! |

Same. This would actually be the first time I've been to a drive-in since 1989. I preferred the indoor as a kid, and that just stuck through the years. Lately, I've been wanting to try out drive-ins again to get the old school experience, but the movies don't often match up with what I'm looking for. So this is perfect. |

The reason I ask is because I have my kids that weekend and it could be something cool to do with them. So far everything is PG I believe. Is this being promoted anywhere else? |

Wow,word has spread faster than I planned at this moment. Nothing set in stone yet but here's the details so far: Sept.25th Gate opens at 7pm Springmill Drive In Mansfield,OH List of films looks like: Jaws,Tentacles,Demons,Burial Ground and Laserblast(with possible replacements of Night of the Zombies or Silent Night Deadly Night). Like I said things are still in the planning stage and the film lineup has already changed 3 times already(Was planning on Final Exam and Incredible Melting Man just days ago). A couple the films will definetly be a R or worse so if don't want your kids screwed up for life you may want to be selective towards the whole marathon. There looks to plenty giveways and fun and is looking at being a good time. I have some flyers out and around Columbus,Cleveland and elsewhere at the moment. An update on info is that it should be posted on the Springmill website starting the end of this weekend. There are also flyers out and about Columbus and Cleveland at the moment. There are about 3 different flyer designs so don't be alarmed if you see different ones at different places. Information is about the same. Gate will open about 7pm and if dark helps we'll be underway by 8pm. We're hoping to make this a fun and throwback to better times of life event. Plenty of giveaways and such and I hope everyone can relive their days of drive in fun when it was actually fun. This is the kind of event I wanted to do at the Kingman Drive In but now we can celebrate it drive in style at a REAL drive in. Since they are falling fast come one;come all to what may be the last of these kind of events. There is a video on Youtube with a videospan of the drive in if anyone wants to see the place as it is. So get out your footy pajamas,pile the car with snacks(but support the concession stand) and prepare for a night of fright. |
