I have just discovered that our esteemed potentate has been lax in his announcements. (That, or I wasn't listening and totally missed this.)
In looking over the schedule of the Playdates for the Kino International re-release of Metropolis, I find that it's actually scheduled to be in Columbus at the Wexner Center, August 6th-7th.

Apologies if this was mentioned sometime during the Marathon, or elsewhere here. I know it's early, but I have a feeling this is going to be well worth putting on the calendar.
25 minutes of previously lost footage and a full re-cut to the original scene order, this is the closest to the Fritz Lang original that has ever been shown on the big screen.
Here's hoping people can take the chance to see this landmark of science-fiction cinema in all its glory.
