Very cool - I'll do that if I can't make it. Still hoping to be able to make it in person, cuz I'd love one of those t-shirts, plus seeing it with a crowd of like-minded people would be a blast!

Here is a "fly-on-the-wall" look at the making of the new Nite Owl Theatre. This footage is pretty raw and was taken during the shooting of Episode 2. The "Shock Around The Clock" promos were shot the same day.

See you on the 30th!

First off, Shock Around The Clock 2010 was great! The atmosphere, the films, the decor and the fun! Congrats to Joe and Bruce!

We hope to see you next week at the premiere of Nite Owl Theatre. I wanted to add that for those of you that are coming, there will be a special pre-show starting around 11pm featuring classic Fritz clips from the 10tv days as well as Halloween-themed shorts, music videos, and more...

T-shirts, a limited edition poster, and (fingers crossed they'll arrive on time) DVD's of Episode 1 will be available in addition to Grandview's wonderful selection of drinks, candy, etc.

See you Saturday! Thanks for giving Fritz such a great response during the marathon. He was very excited to hear :)

Congrats to Mike, Matt and all involved with the return of Nite Owl Theatre for a job well done! I stopped by the Grandview last night for the first part of the show, and it heartened me to see such a healthy crowd in attendance. It was a true rock star moment for Fritz, so congrats to him as well for reclaiming his throne.

Bummed I couldn't make it... To many Halloween obligations.. I DO plan on going to some of the other showings...I can honestly say that Nite Owl Theatre is responsible for planting the seed of my love for horror movies

I could not agree more with Joe, Everyone involved with the Return of Fritz the Night Owl deserve a huge round of applause!!!

And for those who missed it you can try to make it to the next event, The last Saturday of every month there will be a new Fritz event at the Grandview theater...

November 27th - Plan 9 from Outter Space
December 25th - Santa Clause Conquers the Martians
January 29th - House on Haunted Hill

I am sure More titles will be announced soon!!!

Also we were told that if you collect all 12 DVD's they form a picture when placed on your DVD stand.

Just wanted to chime in and say how much fun these things have been. I missed the Christmas episode, but House on Haunted Hill was a hoot -- I think it had the best wraparound segments.

So far, PLAN 9 was the only one they've done that I actually remember watching on the original Fritz show. I was trying to come up with other public domain titles that I remember from the old days being on Nite Owl Theater, but I think the only I could remember was GODZILLA VS. MEGALON (which is probably no longer in PD anyway).

I know he played some of the Paul Naschy horror films, some of which are considered PD in the states. Can anyone think of anything else?

I haven't been able to go to any of the theatrical screenings yet, but I have been greatly enjoying watching the show when it's posted on the website.
