I realize there probably won't be any reply to this until late sunday afternoon, at best - more like monday. :)

But, anyway - sorry I can't be there with you all! And, that I haven't had any presence lately on these boards - new job, working 75-90 hrs/week, blah blah blah.

Just wondering how it's going this year? How was Sue Harshe's accompaniment to Caligari? That was one of the things I was looking forward to most. Oh, also, what's the reception of Serbian Film like? Very curious about that, too! :)

Well - hello to all my pals there - hopefully I'll be able to join you for Scifi in spring!

Me too. I know its only about an hour since it ended, but looking forward to hearing the replies. Did society breakdown during Serbian Film? Did Columbus survive? Were peoples retinas burned? Did the film provoke an uncontainable orgy of violence spilling into the streets of Grandview? How was Midnight Son? How was the pacing of the event? Wish I could have been there.

Folks who attended are probably still sleeping.

I did a Twitter search and a few people have been tweeting.

The skinny from what was posted:

The Marathon fell 2 1/2 hours behind schedule and SLITHER was bumped - again.

The BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN print didn't show, so they had to screen the DVD - ugh. And, a bunch of yahoos ruined the masterful Blind Hermit scene (of course, after Mel Brooks, it has been ruined by #$#$ing idiots who can't put it into context anymore)

ANDY WARHOL'S FRANKENSTEIN print was a butchered 'PG-13' version with all the good stuff lopped out (it was originally X-Rated, though there are R rated prints as well, not to mention 3D ones).

The police didn't raid the theater during A SERBIAN FILM, but it was still too much for some who walked out.

Official post-mortem thread is up, I should have some pictures and maybe the Marathonia rundown done later tonight, once I scrounge up food.

Or maybe I'll just go back to bed. Great time, as always. :)

EDIT: First round of photos are up in the archives, if anyone wants to relive the experience or do so vicariously. Enjoy.
