Although the movie itself pales in comparison to the original film I must say the 3-D was spectacular and gore was over the top. I really liked the fact that Tom Atkins was in this movie, gave it more of an 80's feel when he was on screen.

If you go see this movie STAY TILL THE END OF THE CREDITS FOR ONE LAST COOL 3-D EFFECT!!!

I really hope that between MBV3D and the Friday the 13th remake we are looking at a whole new era of slasher films

P.S. for fans of the original MBV run, do not walk, to the closest place to buy DVD's and pick up the new lionsgate UNCUT DVD, watching MBV with the deleted gore scenes is like watching the movie for the first time...the best $15.00 I have spent in a long time.

I have a stigmatism in my left eye that prevents me from being able to enjoy regular 3-D with the old school blue and red glasses. My question is this, are those being used or is it the lenses with the mixed color pigmentation in both eye pieces, which I 'can' use to see 3-D.

I've been to lazy to check but did Lionsgate release the uncut print on Blu-Ray? I would hope so being as they are putting REPO! gentic opera on that format

(BTW watch that movie...Oghre from Skinny Puppy,Bill Mosley and Paris Hilton singing together is worth the price alone)

I beleive that the red/blue 3D technique, at least theatrically, has gone the way of the dodo. Much like the phrase "the way of the dodo."
