So what movies, that never made it to DVD, would you like to see released on Blu-Ray?

  1. Megaforce

  3. NightBreaker
  4. Damnation Alley
  5. The Jitters (1989)
  6. Return to Salems Lot
  7. Killer Fish (Lee Majors)
  8. Starflight One (Lee Majors)
  9. Treasure of the four Crowns
  10. The Last Chase (Lee Majors)
  11. Great White (aka The Last Shark)
  12. Hanger 18 (on Netflix but not DVD)
  13. Metalstorm (On DVD but not widescreen)
  14. Man who wasn't there (1983 on Netflix but not DVD)

I Come In Peace and Split Second. They are great marathon premiere memories for me. Oh yeah, Meet the Applegates too.

Not Sci-Fi, but one of my favorite movies is Peter Weir's shamelessly overlooked Fearless. The original DVD release was not widescreen and had zero extras.

Great drama. I actually had the laserdisc waaaaay back when. I think I got it for $10 which was cheap back then. It was letterboxed.

This is a non-genre specific topic so don't worry about it not being Sci-Fi or Horror, just any movie you love that never made it to DVD but you would like to see on Blu-Ray.

Wes Craven's "Deadly Blessing" would be another good title to add to the list. The spider scene gives me nightmares to this day.

The other two are understandable (although that doesn't make it excusable), but I have no idea why such a quality, bizarro tour-de-force like Penn and Teller Get Killed has managed to be all but forgotten about. Especially when you consider that they are still quite relevant.

Good call. One of my favorite endings of all time.

P&TGK is available from the Warner Archives collection ...

For anyone who hasn't checked out the collection, the quality of the DVDs is surprisingly good (just be sure to check the description to see if it's Widescreen.) The remastered discs are particularly good.

I've had quite a few orders with them in the past year. :)

The price is a bit high, but if you get on their mailing list there will often be a 5/$50 or 2/$20 offer, and you can probably search the web for more coupons. There are a LOT of nuggets contained therein ...
