When did Superboy become Superman? What is there no Superwoman, only Supergirl?

I would argue it could be a virginity thing, though I seem to recall in the early 90s Supergirl and Lex Luthor Jr. (who, suprise suprise, turned out to be a clone of Lex Sr. and just had his (Lex Sr.'s brain put in the new body) got busy with Supergirl.

But, for the sake of making some semblance of an argument, let's say Spaceboy refers top the fact that the guy hasn't done the deed. There fore the young Robert Redford wannabe in the film is in fact still a boy.

As for the space part, aren't there stars and planets hanging on wires to simulate space and I think her outfit is also supposed to be composed of stars.

I recall hearing or reading that the "Spaceboy" song was on a Frank Zappa album...does anyone know where it can be found? I'd love to add it to my collection of sci-fi music!

Although the play I'm in is preventing me from going to the marathon this year, I am with you in spirit. I've been listening to my "Brain in a Box" collection, and I plan on getting some of the films on DVD for my own living room simulated marathon experience.

I will miss you all!

Much sympathy for your theatrical dilemma. At least you're in a classic play. In 1994, my cohorts and I missed the first five hours of the Sci-Fi Marathon because we were in a high school production of......L'IL ABNER!!!

...ugh, I got shudders just paging through the relevant images on Google. Anyway, break a leg!

Thanks, Joe.

I'll try to do you all proud...I'll kick some witch *ss. I'll probably be hanging from a rope about the time "Spaceboy" hits the screen. There's still a chance I'll throw caution to the wind and show up late for the minithon. You're right... at least it's "The Crucible". Not sure I could cope if I missed the marathon for "Li'l Abner"! hehe. Do you still do theatre now? Have you ever heard of the show "Return to the Forbidden Planet"?

Well there was a Superwoman from Earth Three form Pre Crisis One or the Anit Matter world in Post Crisis One. Gaa The DC Universe is all screwed up. With the whole Supernova/Booster Gold time paradox.
