Over the past 4 or 5 years I have wondered why there is such a lack of activity on the Columbus Sci-fi message board.

The answer is quite simple, my friend. It's because *I* don't post here often enough. It's a scientifically proven fact, or so the theory goes, that any forums visited regularly by scottcoz will experience exponential growth in their "cool quotient," thereby attracting more and more forum activity.

Unfortunately, the demands on my "cool" are substantial, and so I must spread it around. I am unable to devote all my cool to one place. 8)

Scottcoz could you swing by my Wiki Page
to see if your cool transfers to wiki as well?

You know Scott, I still remember vividly back in the early days at one of my first marathons when the gang and I were waiting in line outside the Drexel North... (...sigh...). Nobody knew if you were coming that year and when you showed up at the last minute, it was as if Elvis had arrived.

You know, you ARE the person who introduced me to the marathons and what they are all about, so in my book that pretty much DOES make you the coolest person on the planet. Except maybe for George Clooney. 8)

Done!

And, for the record, any website that references Zapped! probably doesn't need any of MY cool - the cool quotient there is undeniable!! :)

Heh - thanks, Dale!

Of course, back in those days, I had spread the gospel of the 'thons to film students and scifi enthusiasts in 2 cities, so, yea, I knew a lot of the people in line. These days, I'm just a face in the crowd. :)

But, hey, while we're on the subject of cool - right back atcha! I always thought you were too cool to be hanging around with the rest of us dweebs - in my book, you were the Jack Kerouac of our crew!

Alright, enough mutual behind-smooching! Let's go back to talking about scifi! Sorry for this detour into cool, everyone!

Whatever

I found the marathon on my own. I discovered it without Mr. Cool!

OK....I can't keep a straight face :P

It will be nice to see you again Scottcoz! I'm just happy that I can make it.

Heh - well, who is it that has a convention named after them? Hmmmm?

That's right, everybody! I'm talking about Carter-Con! Mr. Carter is playing modest, but only the embodiment of cool himself would get a whole convention named in honor of him!

Everything I know about cool I learned from Carter, and he only taught me half of what he knows - the bastard!

Anyway, can't wait for this marathon - it'll be awesome to have Carter back again! I get to sit next to him! Maybe he'll sign my T-shirt again? 8)

Wow, even Dennis has given up his daily countdown.

Is this the TWILIGHT ZONE - Where is Everybody?

I had some technical issues combined with time off.
