You know Scott, I still remember vividly back in the early days at one of my first marathons when the gang and I were waiting in line outside the Drexel North... (...sigh...). Nobody knew if you were coming that year and when you showed up at the last minute, it was as if Elvis had arrived.
You know, you ARE the person who introduced me to the marathons and what they are all about, so in my book that pretty much DOES make you the coolest person on the planet. Except maybe for George Clooney.

Heh - thanks, Dale!
Of course, back in those days, I had spread the gospel of the 'thons to film students and scifi enthusiasts in 2 cities, so, yea, I knew a lot of the people in line. These days, I'm just a face in the crowd.
But, hey, while we're on the subject of cool - right back atcha! I always thought you were too cool to be hanging around with the rest of us dweebs - in my book, you were the Jack Kerouac of our crew!
Alright, enough mutual behind-smooching! Let's go back to talking about scifi! Sorry for this detour into cool, everyone!
