Interior of 1996 program327 views*I was obviously not online at this point, as noted by my lack of true DAY OF THE DEAD artwork.
*I love the Hemmingway-esque "Tom Savini returns to toss out some more severed limbs and spurting wounds"...although, can you toss out a wound? (Neff)

Alternate, unused version of flier for 1996 Marathon.212 viewsThis is an early version of the flier, produced before I added the Cronenberg tribute to the lineup. Note the radical changes in the lineup between this version and the official copy...and the final program. (Neff)

Interior of 1996 program203 views*Can you tell that DAWN OF THE DEAD is one of my favorite films?
*My 32-year old self really admires my 19-year old self for going off all philosophical with the Argento and Cronenberg quotes. (Neff)

Interior of 1996 program200 views*Check the awesome mixed metaphor as "complaints...have rained down like a leaky cadaver."
*On a personal note, THE ABOMINABLE DR. PHIBES was one of my favorite childhood horror films. It's inclusion in the final 1994 Night of the Living Drexel gave it an added nostalgic dimension. (Neff)

Interior of 1996 program191 viewsBoy, now THIS is quite the double feature. I was deep into my "kill the audience" phase at this point, so I set out to program all the grim, disturbing films all in a row. Starting with Argento's DEEP RED, most of the audience actually slept through the following six hours. Ever the dutiful projectionist (er..video tech?) I would wake up, see everyone asleep, change tapes, start the next film and then go back to sleep. (Neff)

Interior of 1996 program189 viewsAn Art Hindle double feature! These two would later play at the 2nd Incredible 2-Headed Marathon. (Neff)

Front and back cover of 1996 program188 views*Yes, Argento and Price take their bow once again.
*Note that, despite the protestations over the years to the contrary, Jessica Harper is NOT topless on the program cover, merely the victim of bad lighting and a monochrome program cover.
*De Palma's SISTERS was cut from the lineup mid-Marathon, in order to get us all the hell out of there at a reasonable hour. (48 Hours!? What was I thinking!?!?!?) (Neff)
